RAKTA is a transportation authority of the Government of the UAE providing luxurious and safe transportation for UAE citizens.

The Government organisation wanted to provide online transportation booking services to their citizens for which they had previously approached other digital service providers. However, inconsistent releases over two quarters impacted their go-live plans.

They approached Andolasoft to develop the online ticketing portal from scratch. We re-initiated the entire development process starting with stakeholder meetings to identify their plans and streamline the scope of the project cost-effectively.

Our dedicated developers and QA teams work on the project and deliver an intuitive and user-friendly ticketing system portal on the scheduled date.

About RAKTA

Ras Al Khaimah is one of the important tourist destinations in the UAE. It provides the infrastructure and transportation system in conformity with the best international standards.

The Need

The unfinished portal was to be developed from scratch because of many erroneous errors in the portal.

Test cases were being managed in an excel based system
There was no formal project documentation
There was no feedback mechanism for client
No centralised task and bug tracking tool

Drafted complete project documentation, reviewed and signed-off over a 2 week onsite session
We developed the ticketing system online portal using Scrum methodology to facilitate faster and more optimized product development

Dedicated development and QA team worked full-time for the organization in their time zone.
Employed Orangescrum project collaboration tool to manage all development workflows and internal communications.
